As a long time hoarder and as someone who would use shopping to self-medicate, I know what it’s like to be surrounded by too much “stuff” and yet feel rather empty and dissatisfied. I also know what it’s like to be a modern mum, constantly working inside and outside the home and striving to find balance between enjoying time as a family, those boring yet essential chores and some much needed “me time”.

So I decided to make some meaningful changes and Curious Homes is the place where I share my journey and everything I’m learning along the way.
I’m here to help you get better organised and let go of distractions so that you can focus on what’s really important: creating a life that you love.

A very important note for my readers:

Looking through the website, you might get the idea that I’ve got it all figured out but let me assure you that it couldn’t be further from the truth.
Some days the house resembles more a bomb site rather than an Instagram-worthy home and I am guilty of spending more time on my phone than I should. I thoroughly enjoy home cooked food but sometimes my meal plan goes out of the window and we end up ordering take out because I don’t feel like cooking. I do still fall into the trap of impulse purchases from time to time. And that’s ok.
We’re far from perfect. We’re just a family trying to simplify our life in order to make time for the things that really matter to us. Join us in our journey!
