Earlier today, I came across these unusual vinyl wall stickers by French designer Adrien Gardère.
After doing some digging on the guy, I found out his main objective is to achieve invention and escape from stereotypes without compromising on comfort.
Perfect. Right up my street.
These are just a few examples of his work available from Yoox Home Accessories (possibly the only ones us mere mortals will be able to afford) and I have totally fallen in love with them for one simple reason: they brought a big smile to my face!

The inspiration for today’s post comes from having visited a friend’s house yesterday for the first time. She is a big cat lover and it was really nice to see this was reflected in her home decor – cat door stop, cat themed prints and various cat decorative items!
It was definitely very inspiring and I am considering buying a few flamingo and rabbit (my favourite animals!) items in the future.
I do admit some designs can look rather tacky but, just like anything else, the secret lies in choosing carefully and not overdoing it.
I also think that these themed home accessories could make great home gifts for animal lover friends.
